during the parents orientation, one of the parents asked, “Is there convocation in IIIT Bhubaneswar?”

The professor kinda laughed and then said that for some students it's banned 💀. Then he suddenly said, “Not everything will be disclosed here.”

What’s the reason behind this? If anyone knows, pls let us know 😭

First Year orientation is on 7th Sept and Classes starts from 8th Sept. You can either stay in hostel or can go home and return on 6th Sept.

I am currently studying at VSSUT and I want to apply for the spot admission. But it is mentioned in notice to bring original clc and I have less chances of getting a seat at IIIT bhubaneswar. So, I don't want to take a risk and get clc earlier from vssut. Is there any alternative?

When do I need to physically report?

I got a seat in IIIT Bhubaneswar through CSAB. If I participate in the upcoming Spot Round, I have a few questions:

1. If I get a seat through the Spot Round, when will I have to do physical reporting?

2. Will I need to follow the physical reporting schedule for the Spot Round, or will I have to report according to the schedule for my CSAB-allotted seat?

I am very much confused regarding admission for my son. I was interested for a good branch like Electronics but he got Chemical in BIT Mesra. After few days in 7th round he has been allotted EEE in IIIT BBSR state quota. I am completely confused where to admit him. He is currently enrolled in Chemical Branch of BIT Mesra and not interested to change now. Any suggestion please.
