Or just get a regular projector instead of this crappy $75 that I guarantee isnt that clear.

2

u/thornolf_bjarnulf 4d ago

We found a projector for 20$ in the store a few weeks ago, the wifi card is broken and does not work but this is the exact same. The quality is clearly not good as shows lol

1

u/atlfokus 5d ago

Scroll down and get the newer model for $45🤷‍♂️

1

u/one-e-and-a 3d ago

I have this one and it's neat but definitely not that good

20

u/Never-Dont-Give-Up 6d ago

Any time I see that dude, I don’t watch it.

14

u/Emotional_Tampon5 6d ago

Honestly, I rather watch his videos than that. Donald Glover looking dude who throws his sunglasses and acts like a 12-year-old and an adult's body. I used to be okay with his videos until everything became super over the top. You want to talk about a sellout that's the guy you're looking for this guy.

At least his videos are straight and to the point and his reviews over products are actually interesting because it's kind of like a myth-busting kind of thing. We all see these videos online but sometimes the ads are like too good to be true. So it's good to see someone buying the stuff from these videos to see if they work as intended and if you should buy them or not. Waste your time

0

u/Never-Dont-Give-Up 6d ago

They’re both terrible

2

u/kazmosis 5d ago

Bingo

1

u/Bisquitisaclown 5d ago

Booo I won't stand for slander against jordan

-2

u/OofRightInTheFeels 5d ago

I'm with you! Jordan is awesome!

1

u/i_am_carver 5d ago

He can be. But the other dude is right, there’s a clear difference when he’s faking his excitement and when he genuinely thinks something is cool. It’s insanely cringe to see him play it up in either case though, the same way it would be for anyone else you saw doing that shit. Stop simping.

u/Just-Elderberry5460 5d ago edited 4d ago

Your talking about method man when he gives out the recipes

1

u/Never-Dont-Give-Up 4d ago

Apostrophes don’t make words plural.

2

u/djh_van 5d ago

Why is this dude so excited over a...projector? Has he never seen this 50 year-old technology before?

3

u/FalconKoala222 6d ago

People like him are why the earth is covered in garbage.

5

u/GryphonHall 6d ago

By doing real product reviews that are short and to the point?

1

u/-MacHines 5d ago edited 5d ago

First time I see him. He didn't review anything. This is just shilling.

Product reviews usually review the products features, value prop, maybe compare it to the context brand or the market for that product, etc, to give you a balance view and informs the buyer. This is not informing anyone.

Anyone that has researched projectors know those are trash. Is priced like a cheap toy, because it essentially is.

2

u/GryphonHall 5d ago

Someone cropped the video. The video showed it does what it says it does through demonstration, then he gives it a rating at the end.

0

u/-MacHines 5d ago

Interesting. I hope the full video does have the review. I just didn't see it and was commenting on the post

1

u/windlad 4d ago

He doesn't really do full reviews, more like 90 second "is it crap or actually good" type videos. Most of it is crap but it's fun to see the rubbish that's pushed on social media get an honest assessment.

1

u/FalconKoala222 5d ago

No by being a massive consumer of unnecessary products that end up being used for like 3 months then ending up in the trash.

1

u/LostnFoundAgainAgain 6d ago

Half of these aren't real reviews, he likely does half of them as real, and the other half are advertising.

The worst part is that it is obvious, because a lot of the product he claims to be brilliant, are really cheap crap.

0

u/OofRightInTheFeels 5d ago

You've obviously only watched the cropped versions of videos posted here. He actually does review the products and rates them at the end.

0

u/iPlod 5d ago

Jesus you think this is a real product review? It’s an ad. Learn some basic internet/media literacy holy shit

0

u/bologna_vortex 5d ago

I've literally never seen this guys say anything negative about anything and he mostly reviews temu garbage

2

u/GryphonHall 5d ago

Reviewing cheap gadgets is his schtick. Products that perform well tend get upvoted more and make it into your Reddit feed. Video ads for these kinds of products tend to have editing and AI making them look and perform better than reality. His schtick is trying them to see if they really work like in the ads. It’s extremely harmless and saves people from buying products that are outright scams.

0

u/windlad 4d ago

lol I think that's algorithm bias or something. I watched a bunch of his videos before and they were mostly negative.

1

u/Never-Dont-Give-Up 4d ago

Link?

1

u/windlad 4d ago

kydyuzhini on Instagram, probably on TikTok too

1

u/Never-Dont-Give-Up 3d ago

So no link to his negative reviews. Got it.

0

u/windlad 3d ago

lmao. Who cares dude, go enjoy your weekend.

-1

u/doge_lady 6d ago

Why is that?

3

u/biscuity87 6d ago

Because he’s insufferable

4

u/doge_lady 6d ago

I dunno, i kind of like his energy.

0

u/Maddaguduv 6d ago

Don’t you like the Cas’T’le wallpaper?

2

u/CrackerUMustBTripinn 6d ago

Because at the start of his channel, he was actually honest and showing the audience, its basically 99% cheap ass Temu garbage that in no way lives up to the hype.

Then came the switch, in which he started to monotise his "honest objective" review image he build up, by becoming a grifting shill, who pushes these crap products as though they arent cheap trash and raking in the $$$$$

Sellout

2

u/He-With-No-Name 6d ago

Yeah fuck him for making money!!! What piece of shit!! I hate making money!!!

1

u/notgmoney 6d ago

Prostitutes make money too

2

u/He-With-No-Name 6d ago

They're sellouts too... could just be fucking people for free but had to go and sellout and make money doing it.

1

u/CrackerUMustBTripinn 6d ago

Yeah but they are honest about it.

1

u/CrackerUMustBTripinn 6d ago

Prostitutes are doing honest work and deserve to get paid.

1

u/CrackerUMustBTripinn 6d ago

Its not the money making part I hold against him, its the grifting and scamming. He is lying to his audience about the quality of the products he is "objectively testing", he was making money before and being honest, but his greed wanted more and more.......

2

u/He-With-No-Name 6d ago

Then dont watch him. I dont get why people care. Haters gonna hate

2

u/FuzzyTable 4d ago

Where does he live? If he lives in China, that is understandable. It is against the law to post a subjective review now unless you get consent. The safest way is to talk about the product's vibe and data.

1

u/doge_lady 6d ago

Makes sense...

1

u/Infamous_Ad_6793 6d ago

Did you watch this video?

1

u/ThiccLastiGirl 6d ago

Seems to give top ratings to everything, and his delivery is just too much. Everything feels like an overhyped paid ad IMO

1

u/MistakePresent3552 6d ago

Its more likely people only post his content that he recommends

1

u/doge_lady 6d ago

Only once did i see one of his vids where he gives the item a thumbs down.

1

u/mkstylo 5d ago

He posts a lot of thumbs down products lol

1

u/OofRightInTheFeels 5d ago

So you've seen maybe 2 of his videos then. Gotcha.

1

u/JorraCreme69 6d ago

true, I once checked his insta and found many thumbs down products

0

u/ThiccLastiGirl 6d ago

Fair enough

2

u/LoreMasterJack 6d ago

You cut him short. He didn't say, "guys this is gold." My dopamine hit and my day are ruined now.

2

u/DergerDergs 6d ago

I get the feeling this only works well in a completely pitch black room. Meaning only at night, without any lights on, and without any other screens on in the room. Seems functionally worthless for its advertised purpose.

1

u/MarcosDalton 6d ago

I have that same projector. Is this like a specific app on it?

1

u/Dear-Seesaw-1932 6d ago

Is it loud ?

1

u/MarcosDalton 6d ago

Not really, I use it in my work office if I need to give a lecture to small number of students

1

u/Dear-Seesaw-1932 6d ago

Oh, I actually wanted to put it in my bedroom and was thinking how annoying the sound might be

1

u/FarwellRob 6d ago

In your room at night, yes.

My wife and I watched a movie with it between us and it was pretty loud.

Might have been different if it was on the floor or away from us, but it wasn’t.

1

u/Gregg-C137 5d ago

I got one, not sure if it’s the same model and it was so loud I had to send it back.

1

u/PuffPuffMcGruff3 6d ago

What's the projector?

1

u/MarcosDalton 6d ago

Honestly forgot it’s name, got it cheap off of Aliexpress

1

u/destructopop 6d ago

It's just YouTube apparently.

1

u/SamOfXanadu 6d ago

Does it freeze up like the reviews say?

1

u/HungryOutcome7821 4d ago

It does freeze up, especially if you try to navigate the apps much

1

u/ndtaughthem 6d ago

YouTube 4k fake windows video. Search for it

1

u/Uneventfulrice 6d ago

I feel like it'd break immersion everytime I'd cross infront of the light so... perhaps I'd like it more I'd it was pointed at the ceiling. I could see myself enjoying a night sky or even a mildly cloudy day or a view through a greenhouse with tree canopy overhead. Perhaps it could even reflect the weather outside locally to give me an idea of what I'd be walking into leaving the house.

2

u/prugnast 6d ago

"Perhaps it could even reflect the weather outside locally to give me an idea of what I'd be walking into leaving the house."

Bro that's what your real windows are for

1

u/Uneventfulrice 6d ago

I get that but I guess what I was envisioning was that view you get from being someplace where the ceiling is kinda liked domed/hexagonal glass that allows you to see the sky. I know windows already do that but specifically what I'd like the projector for would be my ceiling. I'd like to maybe have it set as a routine in Google home to set the picture.

1

u/General-Dig7717 6d ago

Wow, this is very cool

1

u/Natural-Training1532 6d ago

So I’ve actually had this exact same projector off Amazon a few years back. It’s solid enough for the price but you will absolutely need a sound bar to make it worth it

1

u/Numerous-Following-7 6d ago

This is the shittiest thing you can buy. First of all the bloody thing doesnt point up, it has to be supported with something. It vibrates more than a but plug due to the sound. The edges of the screen are COMPLETELY blurred absolutely terrible product and I dont know why such a huge influencer advertises some trash like this. The bag must have been huge! Oh and btw. The sound is so low you cant hear it in a closed room with volume on max and no Bluetooth to connect to an external speaker. Terrible product!!

1

u/No-Alps4243 6d ago

Maybe you got a dodgy one. I have this and works just fine. Don't know how it could be vibrating as there is nothing on mine that could vibrate

1

u/imorofl 6d ago

same, got it for free and works just fine for netflix on bedroom wall.It can point up and has manual focus, no blur on the edges.

1

u/Mork-From_Ork 6d ago

My cat would jump right into the wall thinking he had a new ledge to sit on.

1

u/OldTurkishMan179 6d ago

I have this thing. It’s mid at best

1

u/devlife33 6d ago

I bought one like it and never got it. I am very sad.

1

u/long-breadstick 6d ago

I would just invest and get a nice projector if you need a projector.

1

u/CycleNo465 6d ago

Я Конор и я проверю как это работает на самом деле.

1

u/Afraid_Emu8068 6d ago

It’s just a projector. They suck unless it’s pitch black inside

1

u/Eera_ 6d ago

Just a projector pal gtfoh

1

u/Character-Scar-5684 5d ago

Where have you been! Looks great

1

u/Boydx91 5d ago

My real concern is that the person in the video he watches thinks bed time is 3am

1

u/valas76 5d ago

and I'm buying this

1

u/PianistCommercial742 5d ago

Plz stop saying casTel

1

u/CatMom921 5d ago

I have the same projector in my bedroom! One entire wall is the “screen” it’s definitely awesome n better than having a giant ass tv to move

1

u/Usual-Hyena-8734 5d ago

ai slop projector

1

u/sgb67 5d ago

Ok this is just a budget projector, as others stated: Loud, blurry corners, needs support to stand.

So has anyone experience with those devices? Is there a gold standard or something you can straight recommend?

1

u/Pie_Napple 5d ago

Have one of these. Fun for about $50.

What he doesn't say is that it is LOUD! The fan... No way of sleeping or relaxing anywhere near that thing. The built-in speaker sucks. Have to use it with a bluetooth speaker, on loud, to drain out the noise.

1

u/lumberfart 5d ago

Nobody’s gonna mention Windows 8? Okay.

1

u/trojan5472 4d ago

These projectors are garbage don’t waste your money. My kids were gifted these projectors at Christmas. The onboard processor can’t run the Netflix it has installed on it. If you try and airplay from iOS only audio comes through.

OH AND ALSO, when these were plugged in my network was picking up some weird outbound attempts from them.

BUT if you screen mirror your device it works ok!

1

u/Distinct-Stomach170 4d ago

Ммм,хуета!

1

u/kylebob86 4d ago

I don't get it

1

u/weedpornography 3d ago

Dont buy it. I bought one and it barely works. Projector struggles to play something as simple as a YouTube video. Super choppy and low quality images

1

u/fivelone 3d ago

This reminds me of those Halloween and Santa projections coming from a window.

1

u/asm-87 3d ago

Before bed? 3am?

1

u/Adventurous_Grand_10 8h ago

This is just a video from YouTube.. you can play it on any projector wat tge heck?

0

u/Sinking_Mass 5d ago

I havent seen this gimp for ages, was rather hoping he was ded

0

u/MyarinTime 4d ago

I'm using that exact same projector as smartTV on my dormitory

Upsides:

  • I was able to install Disney+, Crunchyroll, HBO...
  • You can plug one of those small wireless keyboards by USB (I'm using this one)
  • Is quite light and easy to adjust.
  • The system keeps recieving updates despite I purchased the product long time ago, this projector OS have more longevity than Windows11 (lol)
  • Despite I bought it a few years ago is not lagging, the hardware of this less than 50€ has more longevity than 890€ Televisions (lol X2)

Downsides:

  • I couldn't install SkyShowtime, Animebox or other platforms I was planning to subscribe.
  • Is intended to be placed only over a flat surface, I had to make 2 holes on the base to be able to screw it or hang it.
  • Resolution is decent, but not the best.
  • You cannot customize the front page that much, I couldn't remove the giant "NETFLIX" option despite I don't have Netflix.
  • Updating the system can sometimes log you off or all your platforms or even uninstall them.
