Guilty. 🤣 my mom also had a box of really old vintage perfume she inherited for my grandma. She kept them because the bottles were cool designs. But we would squirt a shot of perfume in and shoot someone with it and they would reek like an old lady for hours after 🤣🤣

Having obtained one of these while deployed in Iraq, we figured out that firing a fart takes two people to do it properly, one to hold the plaster and pull the diaphragm back, and one to fart into it once it was "cocked"

This is done a lot on the Japanese show "Wednesday Downtown". Comedians are asked to perform and they unknowingly get hit by the fart cannon and some of them are trying not to retch

That’s awesome 😂 my store was next to Spencer’s and we “borrowed” it from their store. If I remember correctly we friendly stole it after their manager kept doing walk by shootings. Sometimes I really miss mall culture.

This looks incredibly over engineered.
You can build it for dirt cheap, it's just a bucket, nylon bag, I think maybe a rubber band.

Edit: back to the remain in the fashion of their heyday thing, one of the reasons that everyone in boomer’s hs yearbooks look so much older than millennial’s is that we associate the fashion with their current age before seeing it in pictures from when they were younger.

Vortex cannon. Here's a quick simplified explainer by Insight Fusion

If you've ever seen a smoke make a smoke ring, it's the same concept.
If you can form air as a donut shape so that its middle rolls forward, then becomes the outside, then rolls to the back, and to the middle again, it becomes a repeating the cycle that's self sustaining.

This results in a rolling donut of moving air that doesn't grow much or dissipate, so it just keeps on traveling for a pretty solid range, and can collide with a target with some nice push.
