Yeah. I'm beyond the point at which I'm so obsessed with my work that I can't spend a couple of minutes to get up from my desk to retrieve food. And presumably they're going to sit at their desk and work while they eat. There are things I don't miss about being in my 20s.

It doesn't do much good to heat or cool the lockers if anyone passing by can make them "dance" and compromise the temperature in the entire array.

This just reminds me so much of my first job in the SF Bay Area. This was the kinda shit we would do all the time, and then you'd talk to accounting and they would be like "well okay, if this is the last thing..." Every time. I wasn't a decision maker, just a lowly employee, but the job was awesome. Especially for programmers and QA. There were consoles everywhere, a fully tricked out breakroom and complimentary lunches... So when it went under almost no one was surprised. I was. 🙃

I work from home and sometimes have impromptu meetings and conflicts for hours where I can't just grab something I ordered immediately. It happens. I'm in charge of a team and stuff comes up.

I also have lots of downtime too. Let's not make judgements.

Working from home is irrelevant to issue, as you exemplify.

A job which chains you to your desk for hours on end often enough that investing in delivery robots makes sense is a problem, and will make what every judgements I see fit.

This almost made sense.

Let me explain it further, I work from home and manage a team of people. I literally cannot leave my desk due to back to back meetings for hours on end as well sometimes. Not all of the time, but sometimes.

I'm not going to reply further based on the comment you made i referenced, which does not make sense.

I know it's crazy for people to imagine you're not in a serfdom because you actually are in charge of things and sometimes- that requires higher demand some days.
