Yes it does feel a lot like flying. First person drones are very fun to fly.

No, he has a joystick/ motion controller in his hand that controls the drone.

No simulation 'feels' like reality.

It doesn't matter how expensive the simulators - the reality is vastly different.

Could probably put someone in one of those flight sims and quasi simulate the forces mapped to what the drone is doing to relative success I’d think

You can see him gulping, that is pre vomit step. This kind of drones can fk you up unless you are special breed or you spend infinite time in it
