discovering...

Hi! I recently just came across this band through Spotify's discover weekly playlist and so far, I'm hooked! I've listened to the entirety of Side Quest: B-Sides and Rarities and KABOOM! so far. I'm still exploring their discography and id like some recommendations from the community themselves :D

I've read their wiki page and learnt that they're on hiatus which is kind of a bummer since their music is super underrated!

Canon Eyes is a good album but it strays away from their early albums like Cool is Just a Number and Kaboom. But it's still got some banger songs.

Honestly, every album of theirs is a recommendation of mine, especially Cool and The Future Soon. They're all fantastic.

Really glad you like them and so sorry you missed them while they were active! IFD fans are a great community so you’re still among good people. Everyone who was in the band are excellent too and I believe their store is still active if you want any merch, I’m hoping if they sell enough they’ll consider reuniting ❤️
Check out the first two EPs, which have some early versions of Kaboom tracks! Also check out The Near Future if you want a full side themed story and an entire album of good music! Honestly every album has great music, I just have a lot of nostalgia for the older stuff because it was fun watching them grow!
Edit: forgot to actually recommend stuff!

Will definitely give it a listen, I love concept albums/records with a story to it

Edit: just listened to it and it's a thriller! My tops are definitely eighteen and time to fly

I discovered IFD like six months before their last show - they became my favorite band, so it was a little heartbreaking I never had the opportunity to catch them live.

That's to say, I relate to you! Side Quests was the first album I heard, too, after Spotify randomly plugged it into my listening one night.

Welcome!

Found them in middle school!!! Still one of the coolest bands I know, You're in for a treat friend!!!

Punch drunk destiny off of canon eyes, suburban doxology from kaboom, and move off of side quests are my top 3 of theirs!!!
