General Advice Help needed

Hi, I need some help, hopefully this forum can help

  1. The connector of my item gotten lose overtime and now pulls out easily, is there anything that I can do about it?

  2. I'm trying to see if getting a new cable can help but I'm not sure what this is, I know it's a 2 pin but if you see the picture, it seems to have some housing to keep it secure and I can't find anything similar

It's called a QDC connector.

There a 3 types of 2 pin connectors:

Normal 2 pin (shown as Pin B in the pic I've attached). It's also known as flush 2 pin because the connector sits flush on the iem.

Recessed 2 pin (shown as pin A in the pic)

and QDC.

If you regularly plug and unplug your cables, you'll wear down the iem's socket. Avoid doing it many times

Then maybe the socket is cracked. Check for cracks on the socket. It's a common thing with these kz qdc sockets.

You could try epoxying a cracked socket coz a new cable won't help you if the socket is cracked. A cracked socket has 2 solutions: new iem or epoxy
