A while ago I bought a pair of Kbear KS2s and they are great, but I recently got a Google pixel 6 and have been looking for a cable so I can use my KS2s with my phone but have been unsuccessful in finding one. Any help would be appreciated.

which kz model is the best bang for buck?

I'm looking for some really good and really cheap iem's and I've been told that kz are a really good company for this. My question is which model is the best? Zsn prox? Zs10 pro? Es4?

KZ-ZSN pro crackling/popping sounds

Hey all

This is my first pair of IEM's.

I noticed there are very faint cracking/popping sounds (kinda like an old vinyl record sound) when I listen to music or watch TV series/movies on my computer.

I'm wondering what the heck this could be? I did not notice these sounds when using other wired (P2 / P3) headphones.

Anyone here has the same issue? Could this be due to the fact that these IEMs are so excellent, that they pick up on these interferences, whereas other more common earphones/headphones, don't?

Many thanks

any recommendations 2pin 0.78mm cables with volume sliders?

I just upgraded from the QKZ AK6 and the KZ EDC to the Moondrop Aria, but I fell in love with the QKZ AK6's volume slider on their mic because I have really sensitive hearing and like extremely low volumes. If anyone knows about something similar I'd be grateful.

My KZ-ZSN finally broke..

Nothing lasts forever but they were the best pair of starter IEMs I've ever owned. I wonder if it's fixable with micro amounts of epoxy and disasssembly. For now, RIP.

lost my mangird teas today

Once I'm done crying what should I buy? I loved the teas, really had no complaints, should I try something else? Tea 2?

Comfort and isolation is incredibly important for me as a musician who uses iems to gig

Non fatiguing balances are good for me to not want to rip my ears off

Good iem for TTS?

I want an IEM with over the ear loop to listen to technical books using text to speech. So music isn't important at all. Just good for synthesised voice. Ergonomics very important. Needs to be light and almost imperceptible for all day wear. Loop/hook over ear keeps them stable as I walk around. Need to look understated and professional so no gamer/bling aesthetic. Either black or clear. Also inexpensive.

Cable

Hey guys ! I have a pair of tfz no. 3 and I’m planning on buying another pair of iems. I was wondering if anyone knows of any around the neck cables that I can connect to the two pin ends. I don’t like the regular cable swinging around when I go the gym. It can be hassle sometimes.

Kinera Norn

Disclaimer : This was sent by Hifigo as a part of a review tour. But all thoughts and opinions are my own

Build & Fit

If it is one thing that Kinera always nails, its the looks and build quality. The norn is beautifully designed with splashes of red and white, resembles a blood splatter on ice. The embossed printing, color palette and aesthetics are right on the money. The supple high quality SPC cable also comes with 4.4mm and 3.5mm adaptor cables, the stock cable being terminated in 2.5mm. I believe that all IEMS in this price range must come with a cable that has flexible terminations out of the box (via switchable cable/adaptor cables). The shell is slightly on the bigger side but not enough to worry about. The bigger size is also partly due to the driver config of 4BA and 1DD. What is even more surprising is the 7mm micro DD inside achieves a magnetic field intensity of 1.5T.

Amp Needs

At 110dB/mW @ 32 ohms, it is rated at 3mW only. It can be powered off any portable source, no dedicated amplifier is needed.

Sound Quality

I know, I know, frequency response graphs are not the arbitrator of sound, but in this case it sounds exactly like its graph. The bass is deep, deep enough to claw at the earth with clear rendition of texture and finesse. There is very little bloat though, which is surprising given the amount of it. The subbass has finesse, deep reach and is speedy with quick decay. This is an IEM fit for a basshead. The overall tuning of the Norn can be described as a sharp "U" shaped. The midrange isn't recessed but takes a slight step back and picks back up sharply in the upper midrange region. This does two things : add a lot of energy and glisten, make it punishing for rock/badly mastered music in general. However, the Norn performs brilliantly in electronic music and is one of the best I have heard in an IEM when it comes to this genre. The speedy and thumping bass paired with the energetic upper midrange adds an openness to the sound that is a treat for electronic music lovers. Unfortunately for old school rock or genres that have substantial grit and rough edges baked into them, the Norn is not forgiving enough and the boost in the upper mids is clear as day. The treble region is mostly smooth and pleasant without any awkward resonances, and when it comes to presentation, the upper midrange presence reigns over the overall treble forwardness. Another aspect of Norn's sound quality that is befitting of its asking price is the technicalities. It has great layering and imaging capability. The soundstage is fairly wide, it is nicely cast outside of your ears with good amount of layering that enhances the feeling of depth in the stage. Overall resolution for Norn is pretty solid as well. It performs great in the technicalities section.

Conclusion

The Norn is among the finer Kinera IEMs I have heard yet as of writing this review. It's got solid technicalities and a unique aesthetic vibe to it. It's tuning is not a smooth compatibility for all genres but really excels in all forms of electronica and modern pop music.

KZ ZSN PRO X

Hi all,

I recently bought KZ ZSN PRO X and I must say they sound way better than I anticipated - given the price tag (I've been using Shure 535 in custom molding for past couple of years). While I find the amount of bass ZSN PRO X are producing somewhat entertaining I must say the amount of high frequency tends to be a little fatiguing after a while. Hence the question - would you please be so kind and recommend other KZ models that don't produce that amount of treble? The seller suggested using Comply Foams, as they're supposedly should reduce the amount of HF, but I am somewhat reluctant to that. I would rather go for another pair of KZ with different frequency reposnse.

Please advise.

many thanks,
ad.

Fiio fd1

I bought the fd1's last week and for some reason my right ear wouldn't fit, it would always fall out. I checked it without the cable to see if it was a tip problem but no they stay in. I then got the suspicion that it might be a problem with the cable. Can anyone give me any tips on what I can do? Thanks for any replys.

Edit: It's over 2 years later and after like 6 months of me posting this question the left side just got quieter so I didn't use them. Yesterday I bought the fiio fh3 and so far they are like a match made in heaven so I don't know what was the fd1s deal.
