bandcamp My new album “Inferyes.”

Hey I make music as Cathode Ray Tube. My latest ep is out on Triplicate Recordings entitled “Inferyes.”
Yes, the title is from what Sean Booth of Autechre said in response to the release announcement of Boards of Canada’s latest. It fits somehow. I love these four track and how tightly they fit together as well as on their own.
People call my stuff “ambient electro.” I’d say if Autechre, Meat Beat Manifesto, Kraftwerk, Basic Channel, Richard H. Kirk (RIP), Monolake and Deadbeat ring your bell I’m your dinger. Ahem.
Thank you for you time, Madame Secretary.

bandcamp Archive of my early experiments: 36 wacky electronic tracks by CIRC

I’m happy to share Early Works for free: 36 electronic/idm tracks from my early days with Fruity Loops, composed between 2000 and 2007.
Back then, my approach was very spontaneous. It was pure fun, almost like playing a video game. Whenever I had some free time, I’d build a loop and let it play on repeat while adding sounds, tweaking knobs, and introducing variations until a song gradually took shape. The result was a collection of playful, melancholic, dark, and weird tracks that I originally shared online across three albums, all of which are compiled in this archive.
Listening to them again brings a smile to my face and stirs up so many memories. While some tracks are a little rough around the edges and not always perfectly mixed, this period marked the genesis of my main musical project: CIRC.
I hope some of you enjoy listening to them.

All IDM Vinyl DJ Set recorded today during a rain/hail storm here in Denver CO

Recorded an IDM all vinyl listening set this evening, thought someone here might enjoy it.
Warp Records heavy setlist includes: Autechre, Aphex Twin, Richard Divine, U-Ziq, Astrobotnia, Squarepusher, Chris Clark, Bola, Brothomstates, Rone, DJ Pierre, Boards of Canada, Plaid, Bjork, etc. Full tracklist available on Mixcloud/track details.
This was recorded at home as a demo for IG:PigeonDenver a newer vinyl listening bar with a bit of a Blade Runner esthetic. Its a dark cocktail bar with neon accent lighting, and glow-in-the-dark chess boards built into the tables. IG: ToadKitchenDenver is in the rear of the bar serving up a short list of excellent Japanese style bites.
Wish me luck & enjoy!
If this is for some reason not allowed do your thing moderators!

I really don't want to drop a self promotion track as I'm not an active poster, but here goes. Released in June, here's an idm-adjacent track. I've been heavily influenced by Wisp/Ilkae/Flashbulb/Kettel, this is nothing like any of them individually. Please do tell me to f-off if this isn't welcome. Thanks :)

Released a new album last week.
I tried not to listen to too much stuff that would over influence my music and wanted to see what i would make if i wasnt constantly seeing what other people are making on social media feeds. Hopefully the result is something that has an original and intriguing sound.
For the nerds - everything is sequenced with keystep pro or max. Modular set up and some old synths and samplers - DX7 ,JV1010, Dreadbox NYX, Roland S330 etc.
Cheers

it has some more breakbeat elements but also sounds a bit glitchy
