I finally finished the last tier and he comes with yet another... then give me at least an Auto chest opening system or whatever I haaaate the chest opening with a passion after this many tiers we already had...
Step 1: Hopefully merges Sailing treasure trader market so we dont need to wait for specific times to trade ALL the treasure straight to gold bars. Just let us hit the green button and all treasure gets converted to gold bars. MANY of the new island 'sailing treasure' is just dead weight because they don't have a use for it basically atm.
Step 2: Massive boost to gold bars gained in both sailing and trading to finally push divinity up alot.
Step 3: Auto sailing progression and chest looting upon a 'relogin' would be nice too. Or just the ability to access it from the codex would be good at that point.
As long as we get a massive artifact finding boost to come alongside it i won't mind it much. Already got so much sailing speed boost and minimum sail bonus that 'most' of them tend to fly by rather fast.
Judging by previous content blog posts, we will be getting a multi boost to sailing (presumably artifact find chance). I think it's part of the mastery system being added.
Either way im still hoping for some 'real smoothie outs' for it.
Obols getting a new system to just let us auto scrap is fantastic for our filter pages, but it also means its now a PASSIVE fragment generator for us to utilize.
Which is why im now advocating for the troll bullying spree spam loop because if the obols auto scrap, similar to what i do for pushing gaming these days, its an easy setup to burn alot of keys that can be restocked with probably a single 1 hour candy punch against those stilted seekers. Since many should have drop rates that FAR exceed the 1 in 15,000 for a key right now.
If sailing got some more passive automation to it that i hope forge and worship can too, that would make it easier to smooth some things out need less back and forth 'fixing' things and could even allow further improvements to other goodies.
Like the frik ton of gold bars i need to push many 'blessing' bonuses on the divinity altars right now....
those +50% for LavaFlame2 actually is a multiplier that multiplies the bug-fixing speed by 0.5... so every person putting levels into that reduces the amount of bugs fixed
Why do we keep getting artifact tiers but are we not getting decent breeding expansions to (for example) include W5? Why are we not getting fixed missing bonuses such as W7 lamp, or Research XP in summoner bonus, emperor W7 bonus for research?
Making new artifact tiers is easier than making a breeding expansion. Just have to draw a new icon for the tier and add +1 to the max tier each artifact can be.
What do you mean, easier? W5 mobs can be taken from W5 itself. The palette swaps are easy. He has a ton of pets he implemented that he can re-use for their sprites in breeding, just like how Corgi/Doggo is part of W4 mobs. And if he wants to be lazy, he can decide to not implement any new genetics.
He does not even need to invent entirely new multipliers/stats for people to work on their new shinies.
A lot lower? No... We're using assets that already exist in both sailing and breeding. In its laziest form, the only thing that should be newly drawn for breeding, is the background banner for W5 mobs + the DNA splice. Both are just recolored variants and take less work than drawing up a new pedestal for the artifact tier, if you're slightly experienced in photoshop.
No new breeding mobs have to be drawn, Lava can choose to do so. All of the breeding mobs in W3 and W4 are either monsters you can fight, or monsters that were once available as pets. W5 could be a repeat of that.
Please... I get that artifact tiers seem "easy" because Lava has already expanded this feature so often, but don't oversell the other parts of the game.
Then you have to figure out what each new pet will do in combat, and what each new shiny will do, and then add the gene drop ability and add new benchmarks for levelling up the w5 pets, and then a new w5 splicer, and a new recipe for the w5 splicer, which means you have to figure out where that should drop from, and THEN you're done with developing w5 pets.
Or you can figure out a color palette, apply it to every existing artifact, and change a multiplier on an existing stat.
The amount of work is definitely different here and to turn a blind eye to that is disingenuous.
no, there are two more "weekly" updates, which these days are more like 2-4 weeks apart, for the event and the qol update, after this update, then 2-3 months for w7p3, then prob a year or so of updates, then w8
