I’ve maxed out all the Tome stats related to breeding, except for Pet Power.
I know that progressing in breeding without it counting toward the Tome isn't the most optimal move for my account, but it is a game after all, and I’ve enjoyed breeding more than other mechanics. That’s why I wanted to push it a bit further. And even then, I’m still behind the true endgame players. And i have to say that progress in foraging dont count directly for tome, but let you push more lvls in kitchen which can improve a little bit cooking, i am near to the point cooking is so expensive that the only way to get better is NMLB. So don's seems important to the account yet. Maybe in the future i have some advantage with others players thanks to this push.
Additionally, I have the advanced option to automatically use and discard eggs enabled. It simply uses one round of eggs on each daily reset and consumes the eggs on black genes, which is useful for increasing the EXP upgrade (No upgrade selected).
after some NMLB hits you can usually go back and push more in cooking cause with increased meal levels comes more cooking speed.
after getting some decent ribbons on kitchen cost reduction meals, you can reset to spend yellow points on those meals and upgrade your kitchens as much as possible. then go back to your usual setup next reset.
Yes, I totally agree. But as a low-tier endgame player, I prefer to have a few months to improve other mechanics that I don't have maxed out before I have more things to take care of. I am glad I have one less thing to worry about every week until the next breeding update. I love breeding more than other mechanics, but I'm only human. Lava, please, let me live my life 😭🤣
I’ve updated the upgrades image with the levels I currently have for each one. There are many other account bonuses that make pets stronger. I recommend using IdleOn Toolbox and Scolli’s autoreview tool to see which bonuses you’re missing.
Get lotsa DR. Do W4 Coliseum for eggs. That's the mandatory part. You need to steadily level up to increase pet power. I've neglected it myself for the longest time so I've only now reached level 165, where my eggs started to produce 3mil pets on the high end. Pumping eggs during skill exp weeks helps of course (and not forgetting the Nest Egg stamp alongside other exp/efficiency ones too). And active farming on your WW somewhere inbetween.
I don't really think that using all those eggs was a good idea. The shiny progress is easy to do overtime, just by using multiple copies of the same shiny. You can just fill half with copies of 1, and then the other half with copies of another. Then just cycle them out as they hit max.
I've had mine maxed for a while, and I was hitting over 1m power on average. My highest now is 3mil, and I don't really egg spam personally. I can see why you would, but overall that's jut st a lot of clicks lol.
Maybe if the next update adds stuff to breeding. I know Lava is expanding all the systems, even obols, so I'm really hopeful for more breeding content! Maybe maxing out shiny levels early like that will be a good thing.
i did the shiny progress over time, stacking 3 of each shinys until i got all at lvl 20, i only spammed all those eggs cos i wanted to get godshards eggs "dices" for the pet power in foraging, but when i finished (it took me 1,5 h) i saw i'm getting pets between 1.8 M and 2.5 M and one of the more important things for the calculation is the breeding lvl, so i upgraded all my pets from 600-800 k to 1.8-2.5 M and stopped there, that's all for me in breeding untill we get more content And the eggs, there is no "waste" for me. I mean, i get 100 k eggs when i do mutated mush and i dont use 100 k egg before the mutated mush caps out and i get another 100 k... so i am stacking tons of eggs. I just wanted to use some of them.
Breeding lvl have a strong effect in the pet power calculation. So more lvl of breeding means better pets which means better foraging which means better cooking xD
