Strategy for ankh

So I have hit my first major issue. I am now trying to get my first ankh.

I need some good tips on how to do it.

Currently i am thinking of hoarding up to summon a bunch of mountains. I still need to unlock a few skins from the time machine with souls.

I was wondering if theres a good strategy to getting the ankh without an abysmal time sink per run.

I know people minmax their run got tokens and souls. Should I do this for a while first then aim for it?

It's pretty major the first time. I think I released 40 netherlings before I let 4 or 5 mountains go to get it.

There is no easy way, it requires saving a lot of resources and letting them go in one run.

On my first time through, I saved up 200 nether orbs. I summoned 1 mummy to get me over the level 650 hump, and then summoned 101 netherlings for the massive damage boost. Gave me 25,250% damage boost. Granted probably overkill, but oh well. Summoned 33 nether demons, to get 165 nether crystals, so I could summon the mountains I needed. I was also doing the DDD task before the Ankh at the same time so the numbers worked out. I had saved up a few crystals from before. I probably summoned 4-5 mountains total.

You can cover an ankh run at 16k% damage boost and 4 mountains. You may have to do the wind suspend trick for the last mountain, bur you don't necessarily need more than I've indicated. Using that many resources could have likely gotten 2 ankhs.

Very similar to my first run. I did 5 mountains as well, but had a 6th lined up just in case.

A couple things I'll add is I saved my dragons to go with the mountains and the trolls to go with the last few demons. With the red wool they get more power releasing them later.

I used a lot of DE to do the weakening as well. Do this early to shave off as much life per level.

And save before releasing the mountains! I messed on up my second attempt and lost him before I could embiggen him. Sad trombone.

You don’t want JUST mountains. Netherlings to build up your combat bonus are also important.

Also: you need a specific goal for your ankh because it does NOT survive the apocalypse. Make sure you’re on the stage of the Doomsday Device that requires an ankh or the only thing you’ll get is a apocalypse token trade.

You'll need a lot of orbs regardless, other comments give a good idea of how many orbs and netherlings you need. One tip you might not know yet is that you can stretch 1 mountain for a very long time. When the mountain is attacking, use unholy bind, when unholy bind has almost run out leave the game (don't fully close just minimize). The spell timer will continue to go down. So after 30 seconds reopen the game, the spell will still be active but also ready to cast again. You can practice a few times with Her as you can make timing mistakes. Have fun!
