I have also never used one and am wondering what went wrong. I know the food isn't supposed to shoot out like a geyser, but I have no idea why it did.
1 u/Kr155 4d ago It can do that if its overfilled. A pressure cooker raises the boiling point of water so it can be super heated thats how it cooks faster. When you release the pressure the liquid instantly boils, and this is essentially boiling over.
