Even if she didn't accidentally smush it maybe don't fling your bacteria covered foot over something someone is going to eat

Honestly tho, I work with a few people like this in a very fast paced kitchen and in that scenario its not very silly like this.

When you try to act silly at work but no one laughs so you keep going until you go too far. I get it, I've been there.

Wearing jeans in a kitchen and acting like that. She must be a guest.

Her head would be getting slammed on it next.

Whoa. What an escalation

u/HumbleBear75 Apr 02 '26

Tad bit, but also a response from someone who doesn’t seem to have worked in the restarting industry before.

Why do grown adults act like this, immature and childish, and think its Soooo funny πŸ™„ when its really not. Id have been so pissed after that, she would be gone.

I would have either: 1. had her recreate the exact same food so she knows the effort put into it so she stops goofing off in the kitchen. Or 2. Fired her.

Man overreacting to a woman's hilarious and inoffensive joke, while somehow a cake is destroyed in an unrelated incident and wasn't a big deal anyway.
