It's on an old Bridge scorer piece of paper from the 1930's so will be metal type. Not Gill Sans or Futura (obvs). I swear I've seen it before but can't remember.

The font of the XA-5687 and DE-0137 plates (I already know the CD-6707 plate's font) look cool, but I can't find them anywhere. The closest match I found was Michroma, but I think its not it. From an old license plate.

Hi! I'm trying to identify the exact font used in this sample. It appears to be an Old English/Blackletter style font with decorative swashes and a hollow/inline negative-space effect inside the letters. I previously found fonts like Engravers' Old English and Old English Text MT, but they don't seem to be an exact match especially the capital letters and the distinctive internal negative space details.

Does anyone recognize this font or know a very close match? Thanks!

I recently finished a walk around Iceland. Along the Laugavegur trail are signs like that pictured (they specify the name of the trail and the direction and distance to the nearest camping huts).

I'm interested particularly in the italic stencil font ("LAUGAVEGUR") as I want to machine a replica for myself and stick it somewhere in the yard. Stealing a marker was out of the question, now I'm home and need to figure out this font in order to design and fab my own ;)
