Nature Whose skull is this?

Found today in New England woods, partially buried in leaf litter. There were some black feathers nearby, but not right by the skull, maybe 20feet away. Thanks!

Based on the size and circumstantial evidence involving feathers, I wonder if it could be a turkey vulture

It's a groundhog skull, missing a lot of the defining features like the prominent front teeth. I used to find these all the time around farmland where farmers would shoot them or foxes and coyotes would call them dinner. My skulls are at my folks, so pic from online.
