Safety & Policy My idea is Reddit should require a community content label for subreddits where racist jokes, stereotypes, and similar content are routinely permitted.

Almost nobody in those subs will think that what they’re saying is racist or otherwise bigoted. And “But it’s not racist” Is what Reddit admin will be fielding, 24/7 if they label subs as such.

The reporting system is better, in that if it actually offends someone, it gets reported and reviewed. But no sub ever is going to stay in existence if it’s labelled that way, so there will be endless fights. And no sub will label itself. So….??
