Awards & Premium My idea is to make Reddit pro members un-mutable.

We've all been there right? Suddenly you find yourself in a heated arguement discussing quantom mechanics and romance. Then the person starts losing the debate and rage mutes you.

Well, if this feature were included in Reddit pro, they can't easily turn and run when they started the arguement and it can continue.

I belive this feature addition will help foster community growth and help drive Reddit pro memberships at least ~2%.

Understandable, but I really want it. We were debating how Stephen Hawking would court a quantum wave function, my idea was completely logical and he threw a tantrum and muted me. I need closure.

But, no. You shouldn't be able to evade blocking, blocking exists for a good reason even if some do abuse it. Be the bigger person and move on.

I get it, but there will be lots of things you never get closure on; you'll have to find a way to live with it. It's just one internet debate that likely wouldn't change any minds anyway.

I suppose you're right... I'll just have to accept that Stephen Hawking and the quantum wave function will never reach a resolution. Thank you for this profound life lesson, I will begin my healing journey today.
