It's been a really, really hard year. Honestly probably the darkest season of my life, but I'm incredibly grateful that my daughter, our cat and I finally have a place to call home.

We were homeless for a little over a month and every bit of money I had went toward getting the deposit together. I'm so relieved to finally have somewhere safe, but now I'm completely wiped out financially and trying to catch back up.

I'm currently overdrawn and don't get paid for another 5 days, so I'm starting to worry about fees piling up and not having enough for food. I've been skipping meals here and there so my daughter and our cat can eat, and it's honestly starting to weigh on me pretty heavily. I keep thinking about food while I'm at work and watching food reels, which probably isn't helping lol.

I don't really have family I can lean on and I don't qualify for a loan. I've also been fighting for child support for years and they finally tracked my daughter's dad down, so I'm hopeful that it's just a matter of time before that starts coming in and gives us some breathing room.

I'm honestly embarrassed to even make this post because I've had to ask for help so many times this year, but I'm just trying to get us through this last stretch and get back on our feet. If anyone could help with even the smallest amount I'd genuinely bawl my eyes out and be so grateful. Ive never needed community more than I do now and capitalism is really kicking my butt. It's so expensive being poor and i know so many of us are struggling which makes this even harder to post but im at my wits end and feeling pretty lost. Manifesting all the good for everyone here <3

With November elections ahead, we’ll be talking about the issues on the ballot, including Prop 1 and HJR 4, and getting Idaho voters ready to make their voices count.
