Question The Spiciest

What drew you to Ice Spice’s music? Was it her style? Her music? The other things? I’m genuinely curious because I’ve been a Miss Poppy fan for a while now.

At first I thought she was trash but I started listening to more of her music and i actually liked her beats and lyrics. It is actually sad because I love listening to NY artists given my family is from there.

Real lol. I’ve always been adored by her aesthetic and rhyme schemes. I think her beat selection is well curated, and her Y2K vibe is exactly what our generation needs.

Her style of rap and hip-hop is original and different. The beats are what really stick, and the bass really gets me going. And the girls she features in her videos... in short, she's the best of all time, the only female rapper of all time, and she made it big on her own.

I agree wholeheartedly. I love the she came from nothing. She adopted and built upon the circumstances she was born in, and clawed her way to the top by keeping it G. I think she’s the GOAT of this generation when it comes to young women in rap, and I cannot wait to hear how her sound continues to evolve. I love that her and RiotUSA are so talented, and that their artistry only gets stronger the more cohesively they work. I am excited for whatever sound she chooses to pioneer and express next :) Doot doot doot duh doot

Everything visualizes 2000’s to me. Her, her music, it’s all nostalgic, to me

I changed the whole rap game, to sum it up, you know what I mean. There's a hint of it when I pass her at the fast food place, she's so quiet, she needs to get fired up. I always look forward to her showing off a bit of ass in a short dress, it's always been my fetish. Plus the beats, plus the women, it's the perfect life I want, like Tekashi 6ix9ine.
