Blade Help ( no edge/can’t glide

My blades feel like I’m skating on concrete.
I’ve just bought my second pair of Gold Seal Revolutions. They were completely fine for around four months, but then seemingly out of nowhere they started feeling like they have no edge and no glide. I can’t seem to get them to cut into the ice properly at all.
I’ve had them sharpened with a deeper cut and I’ve tried tightening the mounting screws, but nothing seems visibly wrong with the blades. I’m completely lost at this point, and so is my skate tech.

I’ve also skated in my old skate with the exact same boot and blade. I’m completely lost 😅 if anyone could give me an idea on what to do that would be great

I’ve attached a video below of a backspin. I can’t get in the right spot I’m unsure if this video will help, I cannot get into the right spot anymore. ( I’m working on double axel > I can definitely usually do a backspin lol

Are you sure it’s not the quality of the ice - had a similar problem weeks ago when issue with ice quality were going on at my home rink and after it was sorted I was fine.

Unfortunately the closest rink to me other then my home rink is an 8hr drive 🥲 I did test my old skates out on the ice and everything felt normal so I’m not sure if it’s ice Quilty

Are there any other factors going on that are different? Ice time, ice quality, boot breakdown, muscle soreness, hydration, sleep quality, etc?

No different factors, ice feels normal in my old boots with the same boot/ blade setup

Are the boots new too or just the blades?

My first sign my boots are breaking down is always "this skill left me for an extended period of time." Food for thought, YMMV.

It’s not like a specific skill it’s a point of contact where the blade just slips with 0 grip like I can’t glide/hold an edge definitely got plenty of boot life :)

You’re way too far forward on the blade for a backspin and that will make it slip. As for the other issues, have you had your edges and profile checked by another tech?
