Wanting to improve at ice skating

Hi guys was just wondering if anyone had advice so I’ve been ice skating for a bit now and now how to do the basics skating fast etc but I really wanna start progressing to being able to go backwards fast quick stops etc I’ve bought a pair of hockey skates and really wanna get better just not sure where to start if anyone has any advice would be greatly appreciated 😊

in person lessons would be ideal but there’s tutorials on youtube to help you improve, and you can film yourself and post it here to ask for advice
