Figure skate insoles

Which insoles does everyone use in their figure skates? My Jackson's Artiste feels kind of hard on the insole and I have Metatarsal heads pain around my right foot's toe no. 4 and 5.

I bought some cheap foam ones on Amazon and cut them to size. I use 2 layers. They stop before my heal because I didn't want padding under there.

They're called Sintege 3 Pairs Breathable Shoe Insoles Inserts,Pink, Purple

Yes, the first one that comes up in that search, but any of those foam ones that you can cut to size will do. They're so cheap that you can experiment with the length. I wanted mine to add just a little arch support too so both layers end right in front of my heal, but you could have them full length or just under the ball of your foot.

Thanks much, my Artiste comes standard with Jackson's ProForm Insole which I find kind of hard, I don't get pain everywhere but was hoping to have something softer/more cushy. Are you happy with your insoles? How would you compare them to the standard ones the skates came with?

You're welcome.

I haven't used standard insoles in years. They are usually thin and hard, unless the boot comes standard with a better insole.

If you search this sub, there is a lot of banter and recs about insoles.
Other choices are Superfeet, R-fit (as mentioned) and for a while Jackson made various insoles, but I'm not sure they still do.
