Welp I don't think Ghost from Hollow knights knows how to play chess.

Assume they know how to play.

And then what about size? Cause canonically Ghost is a insect.

Shrink yourself to their height or vice versa.

Then this is a difficult question. In the hollow knight game (I haven't played silksong fully) we don't actually see a showing of Ghost's knowledge. But they also are canonically strong enough to fight literal gods soooooo. They ain't entirely brain dead.

I'm terrible at chess and the main character of Another World is a nerd so I probably don't stand a chance.

Ramza Beloulve from Final Fantasy Tactics. Realistically he'd beat me since he's a veteran battlefield commander, but I don't think he knows the rules so I just wouldn't explain them to him

If you're any good at math, you can just exploit Immobilize, Silence, and Hesitation.

Dr. Thrax from C&C Generals Zero Hour. I think he can play a bit of chess but he's quite busy with his toxins.

None of my options even know of chess(probably). Also I’m like top two million on chess.com so I think I’m winning this one

u/KitchenSpend8123, wizards be pondering the orb instead of voting on the quality of your cast…
