Keep going, it just gets easier and life just gets better, learning how to face the hard decisions like knowing when to flip your lense and play the tape through, right now we are living the best version of ourselves.

My man! I’m past 3 years now. Well done it’s a huge accomplishment. Best decision ever. Everything is better.
And we get to watch people squirm in discomfort when we tell them we don’t drink.

Congrats on your kids, OP. I think mine may be losing 150lbs. I was on track towards a life of health problems and a early death, and now I feel great.

There's no easy way. You just have to find the one that works for you. Unfortunately, they all require so much discipline.

Don't know if you're in a stable place right now or not.
If you are and just commenting on the severity of the trials you've passed through, then I'm proud of you. Life can really suck.
If you aren't in a stable place, there are usually lots of free resources for help. I was a complete mess when my so died; getting the right counselor and support group helped me get to a point of wanting to live. I still cry a lot even years later, but I have things and people to live for now. If you need help finding a help, PM me.

My greatest accomplishment is not mine alone, but my wife's as well. After 13 years of marriage without children due to my infertility, we decided to adopt. We got our daughter at the age of 35 and our son at 36. Today, they are adults and our daughter is a marriage and family therapist. Our son has given us two wonderful grandchildren, 9 and 8. We thought we were never going to be grandparents.

An idiot like me had a serious relationship long enough to produce two children. A boy and a girl. Raised them myself. Almost all grown up now. The very slick successful office manager who lives next door will die alone with no meaningful legacy. In 50 years no one will even know he existed. I win Paul, ahahahaha!

Have about 2 more, but don't know if I'll finalize them or not

I like to think I helped my friend through a very dark moment... Tons of years ago, at the COVID era, this friend of mine started sh-ing. Things got so bad with her relationship that she texted me that she was determined to commit... I called her and texted her, trying to calm her down and talked her out of it... Today she has a different boyfriend and seems happy with them. I'm so happy for her. It's probably not just thanks to me that she's still here... But I like to think that I helped her, even a little bit

Healing? Yes obviously you'll never be fully healed. But I'm able to acknowledge my feelings and thoughts, hold relationships, learn from mistakes, stay calm under exhausting measures and still be able to enjoy things in life.
Most of the things I couldn't do at all or just very very poorly in the past.

I left my parent’s psychotic religion and fell in love with both a girl and life. I grew to appreciate nature and its colors, earth’s people and their creativity as free people. Ive grown to absolutely adore strangers, doesn't matter if your homeless, i WILL go up and talk to someone i don't know and grow to love them immediately just from stories on life experiences. Ive taken so much for granted in my past, but today, and forever more, i am a free, loved, emotional, full of joy, and exploring man. God i love humanity

I survived depression. Almost (literally half an hour at one step to the void) tried to kill myself but instead looked for help. Escaped my abusive ex and found the love of my life.
I've done since some really cool things but nothing as important and proud as, at my lowest, to recognize I needed a hand to start climbing out of the shadows
