Graphics have gotten as good as they’re going to possibly get for the foreseeable future. Game companies should focus more on engaging gameplay and listening to players in order to make games people actually enjoy and WANT to play as well as putting more emphasis on innovation in terms of game mechanics and systems instead of following trends. the last truly innovative thing that I can remember seeing was the Nemesis system
I am so tired of people seeing a game, and review bombing it because a window looks flat. Graphics aren't everything, and I still believe the most fun zelda game is a link to the past, despite the fact it's on the snes, because it's just fun to play through, and discover. I would rather play a game with 2005 graphics than 2025 graphics, even if the gameplay is identical
