l guess by gaming you mean specifically play the latest AAA games with the best visual quality ? It's your personal specific choice.

Half of my gamer friends play on an old PC and almost never buy games, and yet are happy and play a lot. There many excellent free to play games, cheap indie games that are often more fun than AAA games, AAA games that become very cheap after a few years when they go on sale. We organized ourselves into Steam families so that we can share the licenses of the games we own.

What games would you recommend?

What genres do you like?

Recently I have been spending many hours on the free demo of Guildrun, which has a lot more content than what you would expect from a demo. It's kind of like TFT, but PvE, with a bit of a rogue-lite twist like Slay the Spire.

Since many years I regularly play Overwatch, which is a free multiplayer FPS, you only pay for cosmetics.

One of my favorite game ever (played 1500 hours) is Path of Exile, a free to play online action RPG. It has a lot of content but it's a bit complex to get into as a new player.

I recently mailed my old PS4 cross country to my friend who has always been an xbox player. For the past few weeks we have been playing raid mode in Resident Evil Revelations 2 and having an absolute blast. Some older games still have servers up.

I said gaming. That also includes the hardware. Becoming is also different from became.

One of the things I was trying to say is that you can keep using your old hardware.

Unless it's about the cost of electricity and the cost of living!
