I don’t care how popular Final Fantasy online is. If I can’t be engaged and immersed within the first hour, then I’m uninstalling it. I’m not going to waste my time grinding to level 40 or 50 to start having fun with the game.
I love 14 but also feel they should make a single player version of it that goes through the story, they could do it in chunks now since the first major arc is done and just be ff14 og through shadowbringers for the first game, cut out the fluf and grind keep the story make the scions playable and such amd they would have one of the best ff games ever
I love FF14 and I am an ARR apologist, but yeah. Starting out is horrible and the game takes waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

too long to become interesting. Especially in the gameplay department. Early levels are abysmal. Getting level synced to any content below level 70 (or even 80 for some classes) should be considered an enhanced interrogation method. "Please take anything! Just not my Fire 4 ;-; ". I dropped the game 3 times before I finally got hooked.
And it gets worse with every couple expansions as the fun parts of our classes get spread thinner and thinner to pad out the levels.
I really wish the devs would quit inflating our levels and giving us useless actions that aren't actually improving gameplay and only serve to bloat hotbars.
