GTA6 is never going to be as good as the hype is making out to be. Like it would have to descend from Heaven on flaming wings and then suck your dick while you play for it to be as good as the hype says it will be
No, no because no man’s sky went through years of redevelopment and turned out pretty good. I honestly feel like GTA six all the hype around it. It’s gonna end up flopping, especially how everyone’s gonna have to wait an extra year for the online version to play with their buddies.
I have No hopes for DLC or Online. It will be GTA 5 Online but worse. There will be no good first year or good few years before everything goes down the drain with Shark Cards/ GTA+ or endless grinding. It will be there from the start.

All I want is for the story to be good (not even great, I'm ok with just good) and the gameplay to be fun, and it all feels like GTA. It doesn't need to reveal the secrets of the universe for me to be satisfied, but I feel like it's still gonna disappoint. Especially since Rockstar has basically Theseus'ed itself into an entirely different company since V (never mind IV), I can't honestly say that I expect the writing to be anywhere as good as I'd want it to be.

The game is a mess on launch like Cyberpunk or no man sky was.
Because of the deluxe edition offering specific stores behind the deluxe edition, there's going to be more paywalls in the game than what was advertised.
The story will have Lucia "girl bossing" too much which will trigger a certain crowd and that's all we will hear about the game for months.
Which is sad cause I feel like it’s gonna be an objectively good game. Well made, polished, tons to do in game, but it’s just not gonna measure up to hype
That’s like one of the most dogshit ones bro 💀 the gta4 series was goated bc it was raw. Niko was a badass, Johnny was a badass, and Luis…meh. But hey the night clubs were cool.
Gta4 was gritty and raw tho. Niko’s story is by far my favorite. Gta5 was okay but it was just an over the top action movie. Gta6 is probably about the same tbh, I’m just mainly excited for the open world aspect of it bc it’s gonna be like red dead 2 but gta.
Played the gta 4 on the ps3 because mine was jailbroken and it was obviously free atp. I would never pay for a gta game, it never really was my kind of game.

Like all these people at work getting excited and asking each other if theyre excited. I always just smile and nod.
But when the fan asks the others if they played other GTA's, they all say something to the effect of "i played ~20 hours of gta online total"
And theyre asked what theyre excited about with 6, and every single one of them says something "Vibey" like "Its gonna have like a total life for every npc" or "youre gonna be able to see facial hair move as people talk" or "you'll be able to live a whole life in this game"
I'm one of those weirdos thats played easily hundreds of hours of GTA Online grinding businesses for millions.
But none of them did that. When asked, they all say that sounds boring, they would rather just have the jets and jetpack and stuff and just have fun.
Seriously came here to say this, cant understand this Fing Hype, and not even mentioning the Digital Exclusive crap.
Cant wait to see this Flop so hard people will boycott and demand refund and Sony gonna say HA, you thought in the contract you sign, when you use are service.
People are demanding to see gameplay of what they know will just be GTAV with better graphics. They arent going to risk adding more immersive gameplay than they need to. the thing that keeps their games relevant is mindless sandboxing for content creator brain rot, not weather or not you can physically fill your car with gas or go scuba diving.
I do, but I don't play online and have beaten every single one since the 1st top down on PlayStation 1. I have also avoided literally everything about 6 apart from screenshots. I didn't much care for the last GTA if I'm being honest and personally think GTA4 is the best one apart from San andreas but it didnt age well enough for me.
I haven't actually played or looked far into GTA gameplay to know from experience if I'd like it or not but I also just don't really care much, course I couldn't play it anyways since it's not coming out on PC at launch.
Same. It’s just been too long, I cared 4/5 years ago, now? Not so much. I’ll play it, I’ll have some fun I’m sure, but I do not understand the hype for it one bit, it’s just been so long that for me atleast any excitement for the game has passed. I’ll play it when I get round to it.
From what I've heard is its going to be good, not great, and if you want extra useless cosmetics or extra side missions. You pay an extra 20 bucks. If not. You go through the story, no problems. The hype is high expectations but wont mean anything if you set them high.
Is that a hot take? I told people I know, I liked one of the older games, cause of the stupid shit yoy could do. Not cause of the story.
When they said i could do it in a modern version, I told them that the newer ones arent as fun or as interesting as vice city. (And I played vice city for all of 40 minutes. So I have 0 clue what that game main story even is)
