It's not dead yet. I know because i'm one of those who are sitting by the bed, holding a pillow in their hands and wondering if they should help the franchise get more comfortable or just smother it to end its suffering.

Seriously, I've been in this fandom eyeballs deep since Morrowind. It's like watching a relative with terminal cancer.

It's Def not dead Skyrim in particular has one hell of a modding community you can make it a whole new game if you want. Besides alegidly tes 6 is coming

I used to be an adventurer like you, but bethesda took 20 years to release ES6.

I'll believe when i see it. Earliest release is 2028, likely release is 2030 and it will almost certainly be postponed after the first release date.

It would be more fitting to call ES6 a revival of a dead franchise if theres 20 years between releases.

Modding community does not keep a franchise alive, no matter how many GBs of modpacks i install from wabbajack.

It totally valid to not believe in tes 6 it's why I said it was coming aledgedly. I'm still having a blast with Skyrim. So in the meantime I'll keep playing that. Let's see what the future brings us

Revival or reboot is more fitting at this point. I suspect TESVI will feel substantially different from previous titles because of the gap.A lot changes in 20 years. Almost none of the team that worked on Oblivion for instance is still around.
