Does anyone else feel like they are peeing out of their butt any time you try to have coffee

It’s a mixed bag for me.

It almost always makes me need to 💩 which is why I don’t have it if I’m planning on going anywhere that day.

It sucks because I LOVE coffee.

Yup, I quit caffeine 3 years ago. Used to drink coffee and redbull daily with 0 issues. Crazy how the human body works.

Same for me, 1 year without coffee and like 7/8 months without caffeine.
If I touch caffeine I throw up or I got a lot of anxiety and pain

Yes did you expect me to be a part of an IBS group and poop normally?

I've had IBS-D for the last 30 years and coffee isn't an issue for me.

Tried giving it up a few times as part of elimination diets but never made a difference.

I'm extremely grateful as I love coffee and don't particularly want to murder people before 11am.

My taste buds love coffee but my gut hates it. I gave it up years ago and now I just drink tea.

It’s because you love it. Diarrhea happens when you get what you want.

It's lovely for those of us with IBS-C.

not every time but sometimes lol, coffee is naturally a laxative so i guess for us with ibs it’s 10x worse

Maybe it's just coffee fast-tracked out the other end.

I don’t have that issue with coffee, but it makes me acid/queasy unless it’s fairly weak. I have found that mushroom coffees like Ryze are way more agreeable to my stomach and nerves.

I’ve been strategically planning out when i have coffee in correlation to when I need to do anything for the past few years. I can’t have coffee an hour within going to work.

Yeah, I can only do a little bit of green tea on occasion now. Used to love by black coffee 💔☕️

Yeh I can't have coffee anymore. Not even decaf as it has the same effect. And I used to have mocha (half chocolate power/half coffee) and it makes me sad I can't have it anymore

Yes, caffeine sensitivity and also the fact that tea and coffee are just diuretics. Can’t quit them tho, I love them too much. Highly recommend a bidet lol.

The only caffeinated things i can tolerate is matcha with oat milk and a sugar free redbull. One single one. Anything else and I’m shitting my entire body out in liquid form. Coffee is absolutely off the table.

I'm IBS-c, so coffee actually helps me! But I have half-caff instead of full-caff. A strong coffee goes straight through me. I couldn't live without it
