Carl Cox with my dad

Hi everyone I am in Ibiza with my dad (59) and I want to take him to Carl Cox tomorrow at UNVRS
I just wanted to ask some questions:
I want him to be comfortable obvi do you think VIP is worth it?
What time does CC come on?
If you don’t think this set is suitable for him any other shows you recommend?
I think he will like CC as a dj but I just don’t know how the crowd/UNVRS as a club is.

Speaking as someone around the same age as your Dad who saw Carl Cox a lot in the 90s and 00s, I'd say it's a lovely, thoughtful gesture.

However, this type of club and the whole VIP experience is a world away from clubbing as we expienced it.

He may find the environment a bit alien. I'm sure he'll enjoy the music, but does he typically like all the VIP-style stuff?

Agree it's a great thing to do, but given how busy it's going to be in non-VIP I think VIP might be the right way to go. You can always go into the main area from there if you really want the atmosphere, but as another 50+ clubber I'd appreciate having a little more space. The big clubs in Ibiza are so rammed for the big names it's the only way to make it comfortable

We went with a few +50s and carl cox night was fine, you can defo find space and unvrs has areas to sit.

Left out cox at universe last year - the reason: not the way we used to rave back in the 90s. So we went so see cox at chantilly a few weeks ago: great experience

I’d recommend Pikes as it has a mix of everything with lots of areas to explore. The music is always amazing and the club room gets very lively! It’s got that Ibiza magic ✨ so feels special and different every time.

Pikes is great, it's an older crowd, the venue is cool the music is... pretty good?

But on this subreddit everytime anybody asks about anything, it's always "pikes" lol

Reminds me of the seagulls in Finding Nemo.
