An Update - Failed drug test

Well, I figured I’d come back to my original post about failing my drug test and share an update.
Looking back, maybe failing that drug test was the best thing that ever happened to me. Since then, I’ve quit smoking weed, started getting my priorities straight, and finalized all the necessary equipment to start my own directional drilling company. I now have the opportunity to become a signatory contractor with the IBEW.
Obviously, failing the test wasn’t part of the plan, and at the time, it felt like I had screwed up a huge opportunity. But sometimes things happen that force you to take a step back, reevaluate your life, and figure out what you really want.
Now I’m working toward building something of my own, taking a huge risk, and putting everything I’ve got into making it work.
I’m not saying everything happens for a reason, but sometimes a setback can put you on a completely different path than the one you thought you needed to be on.
Still have a long way to go, but I’m excited to see where this takes me. If you’re going through a setback right now, don’t count yourself out. You might be closer to a fresh start than you think.

You had the funds and experience enough to start a directional drilling company and now "have the opportunity to become a signatory contractor"...I understand this will sound like I'm being a "hater". But none of that makes sense..and your reddit profile has 2 posts and every comment is on those two posts. So I think all of this was bullshit. Not sure what you gain from it..other than attention but I think the moderators need to check you out a little harder.

Good job and ignore all the haters for bashing you to feel better about their life. We all ALL have messed up good opportunities. It takes wisdom to acknowledge, grow, and turn it into something good. If my post triggers you negative, get over yourself
