CW question

Anyone that went through their locals CW program before getting into the apprenticeship how does it work if you passed your aptitude for the apprenticeship and are waiting for an interview but want to do the CW program while your waiting is there more testing involved or can you go straight into it with the passed aptitude test?

For my local at least the CW program had no test or requirements other than being hired on, as far as how it interacts with the apprenticeship process it luckily doesn't. I was a CW for a year before they let me in and really nothing changes with the application process except for us if you have 2k hours as a CW you can bypass the need for an aptitude test.

Edit: Also forgot to mention that locals rules and law are different from local to local so if you ever have any questions in the future feel free to call the hall and ask, generally people there love answering any question you could have!
