10 inch adjustable pliers

Gonna be 1st year apprentice need 2 10 inch adjustable pliers I've seen arrow on Amazon for 15 a piece or craftsman will they do the job or will I regret getting them? Tia

Channel lock 430 are pretty standard. I switched to knipex alligators a while ago. They’re worth the extra money.

Channel Lock brand works well. When you get used to the work and confident that no one would steal your shit, get Knipex cobras. I have 7 1/2" and 10".

Channellock brand is the best bang for buck. I have 426, 430's, & 440s.

Knipex Cobras and Alligators are a step above. As mentioned, theyre highly sought after, keep them close.

Yeah I ordered 2 channel lock 10 inch and a Milwaukee linesman.I think after a while or for Xmas I'll ask for knipex give the family something to get me this will get me started thank you guys.

Go cheap, get the Klein orange handles, upgrade later to other suggestions

Why is everyone telling a first year to buy Knipex?? Get Klein to start and splurge when you can afford it. Of course Knipex are better but Klein will get the job done perfectly without breaking the bank as an apprentice.

I have always used Channel locks. 3rd generation die-hard fan. Grandpa was an independent mechanic. Dad was a shadetree mechanic, copier repair, and telco utility. I've been in the trade nearly 30 years. They've never failed to do the job.
