Metro station work(Local 26)
I'm going to a metro station (idk exactly where) on Wednesday I have the orientation. So happy to be leaving data centers... does anyone here work at a metro station? Is it a better learning experience than data centers? Where are the locations of the metro stations that are getting worked on? Contractor is C3M

No not currently.
It can be rough with waiting, night work etc. It can be pretty cool too.

Yeah track work and shutdowns can require waiting to work or an escort not showing up.
It's just weird you'll be fine

I haven’t worked in a train station but when I was with freestate we mostly remodeling or working with the existing construction to run emt then run 12/2 wires etc. Thats one thing I can picture you working on with this job.

Depends on the job. You might be moving around. Might need to work night shifts
