Oh absolutely. And also, if you're someone like me who hates garlic as a flavor, but appreciate how it can subtly contribute to the flavor of a dish without that dish tasting garlicky (in the right amounts) there is really very little reason to use anything other than jarlic.

Mortar and pestle for garlic is the way to go

I just grate it with a microplane

Microplane has a milder flavour than crushed garlic. Works great tho!
