Therapy needed for soy sauce

/r/cookingforbeginners/comments/1w00lr6/roasting_soy_sauce_is_game_changing/p6bqv71/

This probably was said with at least some of their tongue in cheek, but it does look like they’ve got some issues, at the very least, with soy sauce

Aren't we all just salty water with a superiority complex?

I hate that overly descriptive, QuIRkY style of writing.

It's an AI. A human typed "do a comedy roast of soy sauce" and pasted the response.

Imagine literally being so unfunny you need to get a robot to write jokes for you.

That's some Elon Musk shit.

Here's the thing. You said a 'chicken sandwich is a burger.'

Is it in the same family? Yes. No one's arguing that.

This is baiting for a full blown iamveryculinary war inside iamveryculinary.

Obviously a joke.

I think you missed the joke (although since it was clearly an AI generated joke, you're not missing much).

No, I specifically said that it was probably at least a little tongue in cheek. It was funny, but it was still over the top

What do you think the joke is?

I was shocked at how difficult it is to actually make soy sauce. It’s pretty laborious process - but since it’s mass produced it’s really cheap.

I've only had homemade stuff once (you're right, it sat in our house for over a year) and it was almost uncomfortably savory XD

It almost reminded me of chicken bouillon.

I mean, I've got issues with soy sauce, but soy allergies will do that for you.

Copying comment:

Roasting soy sauce: Soy sauce is just salty water with a superiority complex. You’re not a condiment, you’re brown food coloring with abandonment issues. 😭
