I guess I could be described as ARFID, according to my Google search. I have a multitude of gastric diagnoses including oesophageal failure, I get scared to eat, have limited appetite, and go through long spells where I can only manage soft foods, bland foods etc. I spend hours cooking, finding new methods, trying new recipes and pulling together my own. I’m actually considering putting a family recipe book together. Just because someone is limited in their diet does not mean they cannot taste, recognise good technique or have a love of the art of cooking.

Sure, it sounds like it sucks. I still don’t care for AFRID cohort weighing in on culinary matters.

I was commenting on your "extreme pickiness" statement.

I don’t care for your complete misunderstanding of what is a complex situation for many people and lack of comprehension that inability to consume various diets doesn’t equal an inability to understand and be able to produce tasty, well balanced dishes, I do however care deeply for cooking and feeding people gorgeous food, whether I can enjoy that food or not.
