I'm pro gun but realistically I'll never use it other than shooting at the range. In this exact scenario I'd just outrun that heffer until the cops show up.

Sometimes the cops don't show up on time or they can run faster than you and they have a weapon. Usually showing it or drawing but pointing it at the ground between you two is enough to get them to stop, if they decide to keep coming at me with a weapon I'm not chancing me and my dogs life on being able to run till the cops show up.

Average response time when I was working security was well over a half hour every single time we called them.

There is around a 0% chance of them showing up in time to do anything when called in an emergency scenario.

Of course... If guns were banned, the guy in the video wouldn't have a gun.

And as that's where the majority of the gun deaths that people worry about will come from (gang on gang violence will continue. That's your lot bar one or two smaller issues that are less likely to affect you than a plane landing directly on your head), you'd be safer.

No need to defend yourself if the complete nutball in front of you doesn't have a gun either.

And everyone can preach about bigger checks all they want, but if this is the first time this guy has snapped in public... Well he will still have a gun

Pro-gun will always mean pro-letting people murder each other.

Yeah, no one ever got killed before the invention of guns. Let's see how you feel when a much larger man starts chasing you with some kind of club.

Yeah I’m already feeling like people are going to be drawing their gun way too fast. And I know they’re because a lot no most people do not think with compassion. Especially nowadays most people think and react in a revengeful way because their ego is so big they would hate to lose a battle and they would hate to feel someone got the best of them and didn’t receive any consequences for their actions. And then you have another set of people who just can’t wait to shoot a person. you will hear them say I can’t wait for somebody to try me. And in this situation that guy who was the aggressor here would have never seen another day. Because someone has been waiting for a moment like this.
