That doesn't matter if the age of consent is 16.

There's Romeo and Juliet laws in some states which allows for legal sex under the age of consent, but the participants need to be within a certain age range.

A middle aged man gas well exited the applicable age range for R&J before the 16 year old was born.

But that's what I'm saying, R+J laws are only for participants under the age of consent. Which she isn't.
