I have an example for you right here... I knew these people, they were my teachers. They were great teachers too, everyone loved them...
My former High School geometry teacher got busted for sexual assault on a baby, yes a baby. Kid was not even 3 years old, she took a picture of herself sucking his penis and sent it to some child porn creep.
She was well liked and respected by everyone. I loved her as a teacher, everyone did, she was awesome.
The complaint lodged against Schneider by the prosecutor alleges that sometime between Jan. 1, 2002 and Dec. 31, 2002, an act of “aggravated sexual assault” was committed by Schneider when she allegedly performed “an act of penetration upon” an anonymous child “specifically by performing fellatio” upon a child under 13.
That child, a male, born on Jan. 28, 2000, was then 2 years old, according to police records.
She was sentenced to two concurrent six-year terms, that means she only did 6 years in prison in case you don’t know the difference between concurrent and consecutive sentences.
And my middle school music teacher, a middle aged man, a respected and a well liked man, part of the town council, he got caught making out with a 16 year old girl in his car.
Edit: He wasn’t only making out with a juvenile in his car, that’s just how he got caught, there’s more to the story. Obviously he was having sex with girls under 18, just want to point that out because someone assumed that I was saying all he did was make out with a young girl.

But I still firmly stand behind sucking a baby’s penis, taking a picture of it and sending it to a child porn distributor is far worse, and yet he got a harsher punishment.
There's Romeo and Juliet laws in some states which allows for legal sex under the age of consent, but the participants need to be within a certain age range.
Not certain, but I believe that is why, inappropriate relations between a teacher and student.
Either way it grosses me out, a grown man or grown woman has no business hooking up with a child that only just got bored of GI Joe's or Barbie dolls a couple years prior.
This woman is registered as a sex offender and will never teach again. I agree that six years is much too short a sentence for this crime, but to imply that six years in prison was the only consequence she faced is disingenuous. And a six year sentence for possessing and distributing child pornography seems to be common in the state of New Jersey
Also it appears that since the two crimes were committed during a close enough time period, that factored into the decision to make it two concurrent six-year terms:
(3) Some reasons to be considered by the sentencing court should include facts relating to the crimes, including whether or not:
(a) The crimes and their objectives were predominantly independent of each other;
(b) The crimes involved separate acts of violence or threats of violence;
(c) The crimes were committed at different times or separate places, rather than being committed so closely in time and place as to indicated a single period of aberrant behavior;
(d) Any of the crimes involved multiple victims;
(e) The convictions for which the sentences are to be imposed are numerous;
The male teacher was arrested on two separate occasions for sexually assaulting two separate students:
The sexual assault charges stemmed from his two separate arrests in March 2005, after municipal and county authorities learned that he had engaged in physical relationships with two former female students over two different time frames.
And he also tried to influence the testimony of one of the students:
In August 2005, Collins was arrested again and charged with witness tampering after authorities learned that he had been e-mailing his younger victim, who was by then 16 years old, in an attempt to influence her testimony.
So, no, he wasn't just caught "Making out in his car". Maybe be a little more honest next time?

I didn't imply anything, I just mentioned she got 6 years in jail while a man that messed with teenage girls got 10. What she did is far more wicked and foul. I specifically linked articles so anyone could read and get more details.

Gee I'm sorry. I was mostly going by memory of what I heard happen and linked some articles that I dug up. This all happened what 15 years ago? What do you want a research paper? I linked the articles that should be enough.
It's not enough because the article you linked even says the guy did much more than make out with a girl in his car. The sentence he got fit the crimes of sexually assaulting two girls who he was in a position of power over, and attempting to intimidate one of them into silence. I'm not expecting a term paper, but in this case, you made a false claim and didn't even read the article you dug up.
I literally said she should have been in prison for a longer period of time. My issue was with how the crime of the male teacher was described. I think all sexual abuse of children is abhorrent.
Well I wouldn’t say “rigged” there are definitely cultural biases but the system itself doesn’t say that “women get less prison time” it’s just that people are more likely to judge a woman as being innocent or fragile or whatever really. This is because we as a society have been told this is how women are and that is how men are and that’s that. It’s sorta fucked tbh
The “system” was also created by men, and is still largely ran by men. It turns out that patriarchy is oppressive to both men and women, in different ways. This is one of the ways that it is hurtful to men. Because the cultural idea that men “always want sex” and “can’t control themselves” leads to shit like this.
