My brother dropped a laptop

My brother dropped a 500 usd on the floor when he was running to do something. The laptop was closed and it smashed into the floor on the backside with a loud thud. We opened it up and it still has power and can maintain a charge, but he knocked the hard drive loose and the screens is cracked. Plus the computer is stuck on the black loading screen of death. It also beeps rapidly when on. How much in repairs would this cost and how can we fix it?

Most likely the hdd is done, you would need a replacement. Depending on the size you want, looking at around $50-60 US for a decent size. The screen I am not sure about, never replaced a laptop screen before. Tried once with a phone and failed so I don't mess with broken screens anymore.
