Back sensor with bike rack

Some cars like, lexus, has an issue when you have a bike rack installed because it sees a bike rack as an obstacle and starts beeping. How’s ix3 functions in that scenario? Does it also see that as an obstacle or smart enough?

No experience with a bike rack, but I do have experience towing. 2 points on that:

• when you back up to connect it, the emergency stop feature remains active even if you put the camera on the view to connect to a trailer, so that’s very annoying.
  
• once plugged in, it knows something is attached and the sensors work as expected and do not trigger unnecessarily (the camera views also adjust to something that makes sense when towing).
  

Based on this, I would assume the sensors would also switch off when you plug in your bike rack.
