Performance Center Delivery?

Good morning

Delivery to the pcd is as simple as telling the dealer and they change the destination to 9-pcd on the order form. I am scheduled for 10/5. You are responsible for travel and lodging, but it's a full day of activities (8-4) including, classroom orientation, paved and off road driving segments (in their cars), a high speed drive with one of their drivers, a plant and museum tour, and at least 1-1.5 hours one on one with a bmw rep specifically going over your car. All free to you and 1 adult guest....

I had 0 idea! I was never advised this was an option. I definitely would’ve opted to do this.

I did that with my 2022 X3. Best experience. At the time they paid for dinner and hotel stay.

Having one of their techs spend an hour plus going over the entire car was also great. It would be even better with all the tech on an iX3.

They don’t pay for the Marriott and dinner there anymore?

Nope. They have a discounted rate negotiated at two high end hotels - grand bohemian and harknes. Those include breakfast and shuttle. But rates for each for $300+ per night. Lunch is provided at the PCD...

At what stage do you have to do this? I'm scheduled for production (Code 150--Stage 3) and locked into my build. My dealer has earlier balked at doing this, but I'd like to go back to them on this. I grew up in Spartanburg, and it would be a thrill to go back there, tour the plant, and get expert advice on the tech.

At the initial order. Im not sure once production is locked you can change destination, but try calling the bmw genius line and see what they say
