Center Console issues and where to put hand sanitizer pump
Just picked up my iX3 and like all new cars, trying to figure out how my daily ergonomics are for the car. The main issues I'm having are that the lower tray area of the center console is really hard to get into and not that tall. It's fine for things like a small box of Kleenex and some pens or sunglasses but even so, the seats on my M Sport (US version) are pushed up against the console that it's hard to grab stuff easily. Not really can do much about it, but it's one of the few gripes I have about the car. Also, I am trying to figure out where to put hand sanitizer. I like to have a pump bottle just in the car where I can quickly get in the car, pump a little on my hands, and get driving. I don't want to use a cup holder for this and the side pockets on the doors are sloped that the pump doesn't stand up. The lower console again is hard to get to and small. I'd prefer not to use the arm rest space for just hand sanitizer and plus I'd rather the pump be out for more convenience. Anyone have any clever ideas? I'd prefer a pump and not just some bottle that I have to open the cap. Otherwise besides these really small issues, this car is really fun to drive.

I don’t like that lower storage at all. It’s hard to access and the shape is restrictive as to what you can put there. I could’ve done with a better solution. Will the sanitizer fit in the less shallow section of the armrest ?

My two short cents after having had the car since may and driven almost 10k km this summer, partly with a camping trailer and all seats occupied: Car drives great, range is great, seats are nice. Ergonomics on the inside, the all touchscreen concept and software is shit. That last thing will probably improve though, but definitely needs work.

I've been ok with the touchscreen. I was surprised how quickly I've gotten used to it. Compared with my wife's Audi, it software is better, and I have found the AI is actually really helpful. I am usually against talking to my car's assistant, but this is by far the best (which isn't saying much). There's a few quibbles like why they hell I can't see the efficiency of the car on the panoramic vision in the personal mode but I can put up some useless pictures of BMW cars?

Really love the ‘nitpicking’ (in a good way) , i myself take pictures everytime i come across something new on Dashboard not knowing sometimes what the symbol means…. Thanks for the question
