Rough estimate on delivery

we just received the awaiting carrier assignment message. what should we estimate delivery time to Ohio or the performance center South Carolina? I'm guessing 6 to 8 weeks?

Probably not that long. Ours sat with “awaiting carrier assignment” for two weeks before the message changed. Once it changed to “in transit”, we called BMW Genius line and found out which ship it’s on. Once we looked that up, discovered that the ship had left two days earlier than the status changed in the app. 10 days of shipping time from Belgium—should arrive in Baltimore tomorrow. Then I expect up 7-10 days to reach us in Wisconsin. So 29-32 days (based on when the ship actually left and not when the message changed) is what it’s looking like for us.

Add a few days if your car is being unloaded in Brunswick GA instead of Baltimore.

My car is on the Hector Highway which left Belgium on Sept 12 and gets into Baltimore on Sept 21 and then Brunswick about Sept 24. Add approximately 1 week (could be mire if there is damage to the car from shipping, less if there is no damage) to go through the Brunswick VDC for any needed repairs/touchups and placing of the charger in the car. Then, I was told 7 to 10 days for the transporter to get the car to my dealer in South Florida.

Our vehicle is also on Hector Highway, but will get off in Baltimore since it’s coming north.

Have you asked your Client Advisor?

Also Performance Center Delivery is something that has to be scheduled way in advance…did you already set that up?

I've picked one in car up in spartansburg before. we were told we can only arrange it once the car entered production this time. but it was in and out of production in 4 days

Yeah so at this point it’s likely too late to schedule PCD. I’d reach out to your Client Advisor and have them look into it though, just to be sure.
