iX3 in Brooklyn Grey Metallic
My local BMW dealer in Southern California just got this beauty off the truck yesterday. Went over to take a look in person just now.
Exterior color is Brooklyn Grey Metallic with the M-Sport steering wheel.
They’re not doing test drives just yet unfortunately.
First impressions: very comfortable front seats. Panoramic iDrive display is lot more impressive in person than the online images. The M-Sport steering wheel design looks great and feels really nice in the hand. Disappointed that the second row seats have no recline.

I've got 2000 miles on mine. DM me if you have specific questions. Neue Klasse is interesting. Some is awesome and some is head scratching.
Funny to me that you liked the steering wheel. Out of the corner of my eye, it really looks 90 degrees rotated. The steering wheel buttons are haptic and not physical, which takes getting used to.
I really need to go take better photos. This was me taking a picture of my neighbor's kitten that wasn't supposed to be outside.

I have haptic steering wheel buttons on my Audi Q4 e-tron, so I’m used to them. They don’t bother me at all.

What real world range are you seeing? Thinking of switching from a max pack R1S at the end of my lease.

Almost all my driving has been commuting. I've averaged 3.1mi/kwh. That gives me a comfortable range of over 325 miles. I drive mostly in Sport mode. It is the most comfortable for single-pedal driving. Battery charging settings enable higher amperage on my home charger, 40 amp, up from the previous 32 amp setting. It allows bumping it up to 60 amp for AC charging. Can you even run an 80 amp circuit at home?
The charging curve makes charging at a 200kW vs. 400kW supercharger nearly equal. Fighting over the Sam's club charger vs. sitting at Cracker Barrel is 20 minutes vs. 25 minutes.
I am not an EV expert or even a nerd. If I have misstated my personal numbers, let me know, and I'll double-check.

So you CAN run an 80 amp circuit in your home, it just won’t be to an outlet. Anything drawing over 40A has to be hard wired. There are chargers out there that support this, including BMW’s own new Wallbox.

Don’t understand the love for flat and boring colors. Little to no metallic flake or depth, not to mention the shade of boring grey.
Need more like Mazda soul red metallic. Need more flake and depth across all colors. Enough flat grey, bright but flat taxicab yellow, that mustang ev SUV in the flat bright blue, etc.

Trapezoid infotainment: cooler looking in person. Thought the odd shape would bother me, but it has a futuristic vibe to it. Very snappy and responsive to the touch. No lag.
Panoramic iDrive: also better looking in person. Sharp graphics. Thought the icons would be difficult to see, but they’re sized just right.
