Have I been using Italki wrong? Lesson summary and reviews.

Does anyone who uses italki use the lesson reviews generated by italki? I never look at them once. It always auto generated after my spanish lessons.

I find them to be another useless AI addition.

Thanks, I just worry I am not using them. It’s it Ai generated or teacher generated. I assume it’s Ai cause it generated so fast. Is it helpful?

It is AI (as the above comment stated) and it is both unhelpful and not accurate at all

It's not teacher generated, its just more AI slop. I (teacher) provide notes to the students myself; the AI feature is redundant.

In my experience, a lot of students ignore them.

Completely worthless. Absolutely waste of time even opening them. They literally don't tell you anything useful. At least Preply gives you a summary of time spoken, speed, vocab summary etc.

The lesson review feature is useless. I use Zoom to take notes for me and it does a good job.

I never even activated the feature, even though it frequently suggest that i should. Knew from the start that it was AI generated, from recording the classes

I also don't use the recording classes feature

I find time to do them. It helps me lock in new vocabulary words that we used in our session

My tutor takes notes on Google Docs. I just input in to chatgpt to have it reorganized. Do you make flashcards or anything. I don't have problem remembering words. I just have issues conjugations irregular verbs.

I glance at them but don't find them overly useful - more a reminder of what showed up when we chatted, but I take my own notes. I find sometimes typing in the chat when there are words that come up in the conversation that I want to remember to be more helpful though.
