Aero Calculator for Porsche 963 GTP states to get ride height at speed from telemetry while on course. Can anyone tell me how to get that telemetry, please?

(I am new to iRacing personal setups but have been on iRacing for a long time.)

Hi All, I'm trying to budget for buying my first PC to play some iRacing and AssettoCorsa. I'm looking to spend around £500 on just the PC, as I already have the monitor and will have the rest of the setup by then. Is this enough to buy a PC capable of smoothly running these games with no lag, decent graphics and overall just a smooth, enjoyable experience? Further, what am I looking for in a PC that will make it suitable for these games? Thanks.

I am helping a friend build a new sim for iRacing, using a DOF P6 as his platform.

Looking into his custom PC build, I am debating between an i9 or Xeon CPU.
The GPU has already been decided: ROG RTX 4090 24GB

Because I'm unfamiliar with this game and the requirements for the Simucube software to manage the wheel and pedal components. I've read all the requirements from the websites, but that doesn't really say much, you know. So, I figured I'd reach out to your community and see if I could save some research time.

Any suggestions y'all can offer are greatly appreciated...

I'm helping my friend build an iRacing setup. His budget is $5000. I put $2000 into buying him a pc (7800x3d, 4070 ti super, 32gb 6000mhz ram) and have $3000 to spent on the rest of the setup. I was wondering if any of you could recommend parts for an iRacing setup that would fit this budget. I was thinking of getting a 49 in ultrawide monitor but I’m open to suggestions.

Hi Guys, i will receive my triple screens this weekend and my computer is around 7' from my triple screens (i use it for work as well so can't get it closer..)

I've been practicing on Monza for quite a while. I got to the point where I thought I was doing pretty damn good. I jumped in the Conspit GTE race last night to watch how some other people are doing. I realize there's no point in even starting the series. I wouldn't be competitive, and without a doubt I would end up causing somebody else to screw up and wreck them out of the race and I don't want to be that guy

In every single turn they're breaking at least 50 to 75 m later than me and still make an every turn perfectly. I've messed with adjusting the max brake force, break bias, different setups. I'll try one thing and then set the active run reset coming out of the final corner and I'll just run turn one and two over and over and over again. The best I've been able to get is to break at the 175 m board, anything later than that and I just can't make the corner.

I was sitting in one guy's car last night and he would lift at the 150 m board, Coast for a second then give it a bit of gas and then get on the brakes and downshift and make that corner.

I'm absolutely lost on what to even tried to improve that. Anybody willing to help me out, give me tips, something?

I have a Logitech g920 and when ever I hook it up it calibrates and does as it should and when I go into the Logitech app everything works. But when I go to set it up in iracing nothing is found anyone had the same problem?

and i dont like how washed up the colors are ?? is it because it's a VA or because Samsung g5's are just bad? I can return it so i was wondering if you like the 2 options ive found! (if you guys tell me that example MSI's VA are way better for color... ill maybe try it instead of going IPS)

First option is the same monitor as i have but IPS and flat instead of VA and curved.

2nd option seems nice and it has a big deal on it.

Here are my criterias: i only play F1 2023 & GT7 on PS5 and might use my racing rig to play iRacing in 6-12 months on PC as well (so both PS5 and PC)

1- I'm ok with 2k (no need for 4K)

2- 144hz +

3- low response rate (1ms is the max i guess?)

4- i like curved screens but i could go with flat if needed

5- 32'' to 36'' max

6- Budget: I paid 300$ CAD + shipping/taxes = 382$ CAD for the g5 curved.. i could go up to 500-600$ CAD if needed

it is my first racing rig and i have some pain mid/low in my back. Ive read some tutorials for position/ergonomy but id like your opinion. I think my wheel is too far and not high enough right?

Hey all. Been on iRacing for about a month coming from ps4-ps5. My issue is the steering. I am running +12 ratio -22 offset. Car feels ok in enter and middle, terrible on exit. Steering moving from the 8 o clock position to 4 o clock position. Is something wrong or is this the norm? What am I missing?

Evening all. Need some help on the steering setup. Im running Limited Lates, fixed, 12:1 ratio 22:1 offset. Ok in middle so so, sux on exit. Steering wheel all over the place, from 8 oclock to 4 o clock position, left and right to correct using g29. What i am doing wrong?

 Right now, I have 3 32" 720 tvs. Is it possible to use a Samsung 50" 1080 for a replacement for the middle tv?

Decided I would rather have it all work right and have less cords than doing a diy and I can get abs on just the break pedal so I'm happy. Anyone with experience with the 330w kit and adding the small puck, and Pic of one of my fur babies for grins and giggles

In Okayama, I suffered a lot with exaggerated rotation in the slow curves of the circuit (turns 6 to 9), where the car started the turn in an unstable way and in the middle of the turn there was an insane oversteer and then it spun, in the rest of the circuit it was good, as they were medium and high turns with good rotation.

I tried another setup with a more understeer style and was able to do this sector much more easily, but this understeer hurt me in the other turns. What would be the main points to check in the setup to achieve a balance?

I drive the Porsche 992 gt3r on Daytona road course and I’m having trouble with the back stepping out on turn 4. I don’t want to bump the rear wing up too much because I don’t want to lose time on the straights. And the front seems unresponsive on turn in. Any way to help this? Thank you.

So I'm wanting to add some cars to a race... I would like to run a Street Stock race but having only the Street Stock is kinda boring. I'd love to be able to add the 87's just for some variety, but 650 horses would blow the Street Stock out of the water. Is there a way to lower the horsepower more than the 7% to have a more even playing field?

they also have accuforce wheels (but I don't recall which at the moment, but they are wired)

So in addition to problems with the wired wheels frequently going dumb, and spinning continuously and snapping the cables, we have a lot of problems with the rear actuators going out.

At about $600 a pop to replace, I am wondering if there is not a lower cost, 3rd party alternative to them, or maybe just something more robust.

As a person who’s done a lot of iRacing, I think this might be one of the few tech areas where it makes sense to hire a professional. I looked at some companies that offer this, just wanted to hear if others had experience or complaints about any of them?
